1. Mata Vaishno Devi Temple.

It is here the skull of the Goddess Sati fell. A trek of 13 km from Katra will leads you to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. ponies are also available for those who cannot walk this long distance. Helicopter facility is also there from Katra to Sanjhichatt. You can walk from Sanhichatt to the temple which is jut 2.5 km away. Devotees need to collect Yatra Slip to visit the temple which can be collected from Yatra Registration Counter near Katra Bus Station. Hindu devotees from all over the world visit this religious place where the Mother Goddess is said to fulfill their wishes. Here the Goddess is in the form of a five and a half feet tall rock which has three heads. It is the one of the most visited Hindu pilgrimage destination in India.



2. Pahelgam.





Located on the banks of the Liddar River, Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful and famous place to visit in Kashmir. This place serves as the base of the Amarnath Yatra. Chananwari, which is located around 16.5 kms from Pahalgam is the actual base camp of the Amarnath. Pahalgam is situated at an altitude of 2740 m and at a distance of 95 Kms from Srinagar.
